The Ukrainian president said today (November 30, 2018) that Russian military tanks are massing along his country's border, according to the Sky News website.
Petro Poroshenko has shown Sky News images of what he claims are tanks lining up along the border, close to where Russia stores its ammunition.
Poroshenko said: "There is no red line for [Russian President] Putin and this is the very strong reason why we should be together, the whole civilized world."
On November 25, Russia seized three Ukrainian ships and their crew off the coast of Crimea -- a Ukrainian peninsula that Russia also seized in 2014 -- claiming the ships were in Russian waters. Poroshenko has called the captured sailors "prisoners of war" and is seeking pressure on Russia from the international community for their release.
