Israeli security forces today (February 28, 2016) arrested Saadi Ali Abu Hammad, a Palestinian man charged with attacking a security guard in Ma'aleh Adumim's shopping mall with an ax, according to the Jerusalem Post website.
Police arrived at the mall at 1:15 a.m. on February 26 and found Tzika Cohen, 48, lying on the floor with multiple stab wounds.
Cohen -- father of four -- is in serious condition at Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Abu Hammad's arrest was the result of a joint operation of the Shin Bet, the Judea and Samaria police, and the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces).
