Tens of millions of older Americans are about to get what may be the biggest raise of their lifetimes, the Newsmax website reports.
Today (October 13, 2022)is set to announce how large a percentage increase social security beneficiaries will see in monthly payments beginning in January 2023.
Because the social security rate is based on inflation, next year's rate is almost certain to be the largest rate increase in four decades.
