A new poll released on Septemb toer 25 shows that a majority of Democrats do not want President Joe Biden to run for re-election in 2024, the WND website reports today (September 29, 2022).
The poll, conducted by ABC News and the Washington Post, showed that just 35% of Democratic respondents want Biden to run again, while 56% said the party should nominate somebody else in 2024.
Biden's current low approval rating -- under 40% per the same poll -- as well as his policies on failing to improve a high inflation, and his age, have led several prominent Democrats to call for his retirement in 2024.
