The latest data released by the government of Indonesia indicate that the number of Christians in the Muslim-majority archipelago has increased, the Christian Post website reports today (October 5, 2021).
The Southeast Asian country, which is home to the world's largest Muslim population, now has over 28 million Christians.
Among Indonesia's population of 236.63 million, 86.88 percent identify as Muslims.
