Israel, Morocco Agree to Have Diplomatic Ties; Morocco Follows UAE,Bahrain, and Sudan Path

Israel and Morocco have agreed to normalize relations, President Donald Trump announced this week, marking the fourth Arab-Israeli agreement in four months, the  CBN News reports today (December 12, 2020). The other three Arab countries to renew diplomatic ties with Israel are the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, and Sudan.

As his time in office winds down, Trump said Israel and Morocco would restore diplomatic and other relations. U.S. officials said it would also include joint overflight rights for airlines.

The Trump administration has also been trying to bring Saudi Arabia  into the Arab-Israeli grouping, but without success.
