Biden and Harris Named Time's Person of the Yr.; A Vice President Is Named for the First Time Ever

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been named Time Magazine's Person of the Year for 2020, the CBS News website reports today (December 11, 2020).


The annual recognition, which is awarded to "the individual or group of people who affected the news or our lives the most, for better or worse," was announced yesterday.


This is the first time a vice president has been named as a Person of the Year, Time said.
