The Trump administration is planning to make major cuts in some foreign aid, the Daily Caller website reports today (August 17, 2019).
The White House is working with the State Department to identify areas where they can slash spending.
The requested cuts sent to Congress amount to $4.3 billion.
President Trump has stated we should only be sending foreign aid to those nations that respect the U.S. and our friends.
