Lithuania Pays Migrants 1K Euros to Fly to Iraq; All 98 Migrants Agreed to Return Voluntarily

 The largest group of  migrants to break through the Lithuanian-Belarusian border at the height of the largest migrant crisis has been returned to Baghdad, the Euro News website reports today (January 3, 2022).


All 98 Iraqis were given a one-time payment of 1,000 euros to board the flight. 


All went voluntarily, according to the Lithuanian Ministry  of Internal Affairs.
