The head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church said on March 28 that the war in his homeland presents tje world with a stark choice, the Catholic World Report website reports today (March 30, 2022).
In a video message, Major Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk said that politicians and religious leaders had to make clear where they stand on the conflict.
"Everyone who respects human life, everyone who respects God's commandment 'Thou shalt not kill' must stand by Ukraine today," he said.
