Anti-Semitic Posters Hit SUNY's Purchase College; Contained Swastikas and an Image of Adolf Hitler

Nazi-themed posters were hung last weekend at the State University of New York's Purchase College, the Times of Israel website reports today (December 12, 2018).

The posters were identified on December 9 in several areas around the SUNY campus located about 30 miles north of New York City. They contained an image of Adolf Hitler and swastikas.

"That this hateful act took place on the last night of Hanukkah when our Jewish community members were celebrating the survival of their religion, makes it even more reprehensible," Dennis Craig, Purchase's officer in charge and vice president for student affairs and enrollment management, said in a statement.

"Messages of hate, while becoming more and more prevalent in our country, have no place on our campus and will be treated with the utmost severity," he added.
