An additional 1.8 million doses of the Jynneos monkeypox vaccine are available for order, the USA Today website reports today (August 22, 2022).
The FDA issued an emergency use authorization for the Jynneos vaccine that allows five doses to be obtained from the original single-dose vial.
More than 13,500 cases of the monkeypox have been confirmed in the U.S., according to the latest CDC data.
