Over 100 Tires Belonging to Jews Slashed in NJ; Lakewood Is Large Jewish City Resulting in Hate

More than 100 car tires have been slashed over the past few days in the heavily-populated Jewish city of Lakewood, New Jersey, the JTA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency) website reports today (August 13, 2019).

All the cars involved belong to Jews, the ABC News reported yesterday.

Security footage of ABC showed a person in a hoodie using a knife to slash tires.

Lakewood is the home of a large ultra-Orthodox Jewish community and one of the biggest yeshivas in the U.S. Police are investigating the incidents as hate crimes.
