At least 20 people were killed and about 40 others injured today (February 7, 2017) by a bomb outside the Supreme Court in the Afghan capital of Kabul, according to the Euro News website.
It is believed that a suicide bomber targeted employees leaving their offices at the end of the working day, causing panic.
An interior ministry spokesman said the bomber approached on foot and detonated the device in the car park.
The attack seems to be the latest in a series of attacks on Afghanistan's judiciary by the Taliban, which is fighting to replace the U.S.-backed government.
