Appalachian Flooding Kills 15 People in Kentucky; Massive Property Damage, Hundreds Lose Homes

 Heavy rains have caused flash flooding and mudslides, as storms pound parts of central Appalachia, the Newsy website reports today (July 29, 2022).


Kentucky Gov. Andy Bashear said today that at least 15 people have died from flooding in the state. 


He added that property damage has been massive, with hundreds losing their homes.
