Biden Gets to Work Despite Trump Obstruction; Harris' Husband to Leave Law Firm, Work in DC

Asked about Republicans blocking him from receiving intelligence briefings traditionally shared with incoming presidents, Joe Biden said "we don't see anything slowing us down," the AP website reports today (November 11, 2020).

Biden described Trump's unprecedented position as little more than  an "embarrassing" mark on the outgoing president's legacy.

Meanwhile, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, Doug Emhoff, said today he plans to leave his California law practice by Inauguration Day to focus on White House duties. He is the first man to hold the role of vice presidential spouse.
