Rel. Split on Trump's Climate Accord Pullout; Many Oppose US Withdrawal, Others Back It

Christians, Jews, Muslims, and others reacted emotionally to President Trump's decision to withdraw the U.S. from the 2015 Paris climate change agreement, the Religion News website reports today (June 2, 2017).

While leaders of the religious left were critical of the move, conservatives were somewhat divided.

Many who welcomed other radical actions of the administration were concerned about the impact of the decision.

However, others -- skeptical that climate is changing or believing that God will take care of the planet -- praised Trump's withdrawal.
