Five Teens Nabbed for Theft of Va. Nativity Scene; Charged with Larceny, Trespass, Property Damage

Five teenagers are facing charges they stole and then destroyed a nativity scene from a church in Bedford County in Southwestern Virginia, the Drudge Report website reports today (December 12, 2012).

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office said the five were arrested yesterday, after the 12-piece Christmas scene was reported missing over the weekend from Shiloh United Methodist Church in Forest.

The set had an estimated value of $2,500.

The teenagers face charges of grand larceny, trespass, and property damage.
