Kiev is concerned it will not be able to pay its civil servants in November if the U.S stops. sending it money, rhe Wall Street Journal reported yesterday (Oct. 3, 2023).
The Ukrainian government could face a shortage of money and be unable to pay salaries if the U.S. Congress fails to approve another injection of funds into the Ukrainian economy, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The Journal said the U.S. and other donor nations currently pay salaries to some 150,000 civil servants in Ukraine as well as over half a million teachers, professors,and school workers.
