Smoke from Canada Wildfires Chokes Much of US; Canada Expects Firefighting to Last Until Sept.

Smoke from more than 500 wildfires raging throughout Canada is choking  large swaths of the U.S., and has spread as far as Europe, the Alter Net website reports today (July 2, 2023). 

When the fires will end is on the minds of millions of people whom they are affecting.

Canadian officials expect firefighting operations to last until September.
