A Ukrainian official, citing discovered documents, said Russian President Vladimir Putin intended to seize all of Ukraine after beginning his invasion, the Newsmax website reports today (May 13, 2022).
The director of Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigation -- basing his assertions on documents left behind by fleeing Russian soldiers -- used the Telegram to convey the message.
"Found were important documents of soldiers of the Russian Federation's Armed Forces that give a clear understanding that Russia was preparing to seize all the territory of Ukraine," Oleksiy Sukhachev said in the statement.
