Most Jews Now Live in Israel, No Longer in US; Due to Surge in Number of Jews Moving There

The largest concentration of Jewish people -- more than six million -- now live in Israel, compared to 5.7 million living in the U.S., according to Israeli Aliyah and Integration Minister Sofa Landver, the World Israel News website reports today (July 3, 2018).

The past year has sen a significant surge in the number of Jews immigrating to Israel.

The ministry has increased assistance for entrepreneurs and has seen a rise in the number of businesses that have opened.

Israel is now the home of the world's largest Jewish Community, followed by the U.S., France, the UK, Ukraine, and Russia.
