Swastikas Cut into Cars in Miami Jewish Area; Swastika Was Painted on Car in Boca Raton,FL

In an example of the recent significant increase of anti-Semitism pervading the United States, swastikas were scratched into several cars in a Jewish neighborhood in Miami Beach, Florida, the JTA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency) website reports today (February 27, 2017).

The swastikas were found keyed on the cars yesterday morning.

Earlier this month, a large swastika was painted on the car of a resident of Boca Raton, Florida -- about 45 miles from Miami -- in a neighborhood where many Holocaust survivors live.

Also yesterday, two buildings in Seattle, Washington were found defaced with threatening anti-Semitic graffiti. And today, 10 more Jewish community centers around the U.S. received anonymous bomb threat calls -- the fifth round of such hate crimes in recent months.
