A war expert has warned Russia could use "horrific" chemical weapons in Ukraine, urging the international community to condemn their use, the Euro News website reports today (May 11, 2023).
The Kremlin says it does not intend to use chemical weapons in Ukraine.
On May 6, Russia was accused of using phosphorus on the besieged Ukraine city of Bakhmut, with Ukraine releasing footage showing it raining down on its positions.
