A 20-year-old female IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) officer was moderately wounded in a Palestinian shooting attack in Hebron today (January 3, 2016), according to the Algemeiner website.
Police say the attack was committed by a sniper who opened fire at a group of Israelis standing in the area of the parking lot near the Cave of the Patriarchs.
The terrorist escaped and a manhunt is underway to apprehend him.
Magen David Adom paramedics who treated the woman soldier at the scene say she sustained bullet wounds to the pelvis. She was evacuated to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
