A source at the Apostolic Palace has revealed that Pope Francis is expected to receive Joe Biden on October 29, in the U.S. president's first official visit to the Vatican since his inauguration, the National Catholic Register website reports today (September 29, 2021).

The source said that its information came from the Prefecture for the Pontifical Household.

The Prefecture is responsible for the organization and protocol of meetings.
