Man Wearing Kippah Attacked in Berlin by 3 Men; "Arab-Appearing" Trio Made Anti-Semitic Epithets

A young man wearing a kippah was attacked on the streets of Berlin by three men last night, the Algemeiner website reports today (June 22, 2016).

According to a police report, the attack occurred at about 9:30 p.m. in the Alt-Treptow neighborhood.

The victim, 21, told police that three men of Arabic appearance began to verbally harass him with anti-Semitic epithets when they saw his kippah. They then proceeded to punch and kick him before fleeing the scene.

The young man was lightly injured and did not require emergency medical treatment. Police are investigating the incident.
