Israeli soldiers shot dead a young Palestinian man near a village in Ramallah after he allegedly opened fire at an army post, the Big News Network website reports today (January 29, 2014).
The Palestinian man, identified as Mohammed Mubarak, 22, was shot and killed near Ein Siniya this morning.
A Palestinian official in the military liaison department said Mubarak was shot dead by a soldier positioned in a military watchtower.
But the Israeli army said Mubarak was a militant and was shot dead after he opened fire at one of its posts.
